A modern UI redesign of Deus Ex, created in UE5 over 8 weeks.
The project identified usability and visual design opportunities within the original interface and explored how they could be addressed in a redesign following an agile prototyping workflow, from research and wireframes to final implementation and iteration.

Researched into established UI/UX principles and visual design theory to inform the redesign. This included concepts such as Gestalt principles, Gutenberg's Diagram, visual hierarchy, and colour theory, helping guide my design decisions.
Planning and Project Proposal
Multiple variations of menus were made, and then analysed for pros/cons, and with feedback from peers, chosen designs were taken forward for implementation. Project scope at this stage was also adjusted to meet deadlines while ensuring the onboarding user flow was fully completed.
