I contributed to wider game design discussions, helping define the gameplay loop, player controls, and overall user experience. Once the project's core had been established, I did more targeted UI/UX research into co-op platformers.
Colour palettes, typography, and visual styling were chosen to support the overall art direction while ensuring it would remain clear against the game background.
Focusing on clear navigation and strong information hierarchy. Gathered feedback from team members to evaluate and refine design directions ahead of implementation.
Whilst maintaining focus on creating visually cohesive ornaments to match the game's theme. I also wanted to create clear hierarchy for each menu by using ornaments as visual guides for the user's eyes.
Improvements and iterations were made each week from testing feedback.
Pitch made in collaboration with team members.
