A minimalist style for the UI was used to reduce on-screen clutter so players could concentrate on movement and navigation.
A key feature was the radial selection wheel, designed for controller use to minimise input complexity and physical movement. This allowed players to quickly select options using simple directional input, supporting a more accessible and comfortable experience for players with limited motor control.
The UI visual design was made over 1-2 days, with all assets being made using Figma and Photoshop for hand-drawn details. Variations of the UI kit were made to be used for implementation. The UI was designed to reflect the game’s theme of community and friendliness through a soft, approachable visual style with clear layouts and minimal clutter.
